I feel very fortunate to have been able to spend a day with Oscar in his studio overlooking Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janerio while shooting my “Identity” Project. One thing I really remember and a story I always tell is when Oscar showed me his drawings on the back of unhinged doors. Every project he did started out as a drawing of the female form and slowly morphed into a building. What a process ! The people we meet along the way help to form the person we become, I love what I do.

Halloween

Nothing better than Halloween. These images are from a really great shoot we did with an awesome creative team from TMA. We then partnered with Imaginary Lines to bring these to life. Enjoy !!!

The image on the left is part of a campaign the world will see in 2013 (client unnamed). The rest of the story on the right is what we did with two great talent during a mid-afternoon break. Our Stylist Mari Hidalgo created the look for the personas that Sarah Giddens and Doc King played as they hunted each other in the backwoods.

Stacy Willingham asked my old producer Erin Key if she’d come out or retirement to put together a calendar of Tattooed Hippie Momma’s for a non-profit in Denton, Texas. I figured it would be a fun way to filled a few hot summer nights, although I had no idea who we were shooting or what they looked like. Sometimes one just has to go with that. Barri Martin rocked it with the styling, we had a plethora of great hair and make-up people, too many to name and of course great music. Our Moms were awesome, great sports all around.
